Live-in Nanny / Companion available – Amsterdam area

My name is Stephanie, originally from Berlin & currently living in Amsterdam. I am in my fifties, active, healthy and looking for a live-in position as a nanny, companion, or caregiver in the Amsterdam area. I am a reliable, warm, & calm person who enjoys supporting others and bringing structure into a home. I have experience as an au pair and have provided full-time, live-in care for an elderly man with dementia, supporting him in his daily life. I am comfortable with both children and older adults and happy to help with household tasks such as cleaning, cooking, and organising. I live a healthy lifestyle, do not drink alcohol, and value a stable home environment. I am flexible and can also help in the evenings & I am comfortable being present at night when needed, to provide reassurance, support an elderly person, or as a babysitter if a child wakes up. My constant companion is my small dog (7 years old). She is very affectionate, playful, and loves being around people, especially children. She is well-behaved, clean, and easily adapts to a home environment. I am looking for a home where she is truly welcome as part of the household. What I am looking for: A live-in arrangement in exchange for support in daily life (4–5 hours per day). I am mainly looking for accommodation and meals in return, and ideally a small allowance. I would value a stable arrangement for at least one year. I am looking for a warm, respectful home where I can truly feel part of the household. While I naturally respect privacy and also enjoy having my own space, I value a friendly connection in everyday life. For me, it is important to live in an environment where there is mutual appreciation, openness, and a sense of ease – not just a purely functional arrangement, but a positive & supportive atmosphere for everyone involved.
