I love dogs & am a true dog person

I’ve lived with dogs all my life and these beautiful creatures have always been part of my family. Over the years I’ve cared for many dogs of different breeds, sizes and temperaments, and I also volunteered in animal shelters. At the moment, I share my home with my own fur baby Dita — a small, cat-sized Spanish rescue (Ratonero Mallorquín mix). She is very friendly, social and athletic, and gets along wonderfully with both dogs and humans. Because of her size and gentle nature, she is also a great companion for smaller or more sensitive dogs. But she also likes rough play if she has the right sparring partner. We live right between Vondelpark and Rembrandtpark, both only about a ten-minute walk away. This means the dogs in my care get to spend plenty of time outdoors in green spaces every day. If a dog feels safe with me and the owner agrees, I’m also happy to let them walk off-leash, always with care and only when it’s clearly appropriate. I deliberately only take care of one or two guest dogs at a time, and only if they get along well with each other. I don’t do group care or large packs, as I believe dogs thrive best with individual attention, calm energy and clear structure. I work mainly from home, so the dogs are never left alone for long periods. I also have experience with senior dogs and dogs who need a calmer, more attentive approach. My rate is €12 per dog per day, which includes attentive care, regular walks and a calm, loving environment.
