Compassionate carer in Amsterdam

My name is Mara, I am 27 years old. I started providing care as a child, without ever being asked. It's something of a natural impulse that has always come naturally to me. Starting with my great-grandmother when she got sick, to all of my grandparents, who have all sadly passed away by now. As a child, during family dinners, I would sit on my granddad's lap to help him eat (he was affected by Parkinson's), I cared for my other grandad, who needed assisted care when he was suddenly affected by a brain tumour and his health quickly deteriorated. Similar stories for my other grandparents. I'm in a moment where I'm uncertain of the direction of my life, and I feel the urge to go back to the basics of being of service and taking care of people in need, which is something that has always filled my soul.
