Student tutor- English and Beginner Guitar

Hi! I’m Praanjal, a first-year Political Science student at the University of Amsterdam offering friendly and engaging tutoring in English (beginner to advanced) and beginner guitar. English has been my first language and the language I’m most proficient in. I achieved an IELTS Band 8 and 95% in English in my Grade 12 national certificate examinations. I’m also a published writer and poet, and my poetry book received the “Emily Dickinson of the 21st Century” award. I’ve always had a particular love for language, reading and vocabulary, and I placed 3rd worldwide in the international final of the MaRRS Spelling Bee Championship. For guitar, I’ve been playing for 8 years and hold a Grade 3 Intermediate Acoustic Guitar certification from Trinity College London. I’m happy to help beginners get comfortable with the instrument, learn chords and songs, develop technique, and build a strong foundation at their own pace. As a tutor, I want lessons to feel encouraging and comfortable rather than intimidating. Whether you’re looking to improve your English, become more confident communicating, strengthen your writing and vocabulary, or pick up a guitar for the first time, I’d be happy to help!
