Reliable housekeeper needed twice a week Amsterdam

We are looking for a reliable, careful and experienced housekeeper for regular support in our home in Amsterdam.

Schedule:
• Tuesday: thorough cleaning, approximately 5–6 hours
• Friday around lunchtime: approximately 3–4 hours

Main responsibilities:
• vacuuming, mopping floors and cleaning surfaces
• cleaning the bathroom and toilet
• washing dishes and using the dishwasher correctly
• returning items to their usual places
• sorting and taking out rubbish
• doing laundry, including delicate clothing
• choosing the correct washing programme and carefully drying, hanging and folding clothes
• changing bed linen once a week and occasionally preparing the guest room
• keeping the kitchen, sink, hob and work surfaces clean
• periodically cleaning skirting boards, areas under furniture, kitchen fronts, filters and other hard-to-reach areas
• monitoring cleaning products and household supplies and reporting when something is running low
• occasionally providing basic help with the garden or balcony, by agreement

If you are unsure whether an item can be washed in the washing machine or dishwasher, please do not take any risks and ask us first. If you do not know where an item belongs, please place it in a separate area and let us know.

After each visit, we would like a short message explaining what was completed, which supplies are running low, and whether anything is broken or requires attention.

We are looking for someone who works independently, carefully and reliably, pays attention to detail, and handles clothing, household items and appliances with care. Communication in English is required.
